Some experimental consequences of recent work of Brändas and C.‐Dreismann on the H + transport mechanism in aqueous solutions are considered. Further analysis of the excess conductivities of H + and OH − confirms a previously established relation on proton transfer activation energies in water. Three new experiments are proposed and shortly discussed, which can show explicitly the existence of coherent‐dissipative structures around H + (or OH − ) in aqueous solutions.
