Spin‐other‐orbit splitting factors (γ') and spin‐orbit splitting factors (γ) for f 6 electron configuration are computed and tabulated for general usage. These are used to evaluate the Hartree‐Fock values of γ' and γ for Sm(4 f 6 ), Sm ++ (4 f 6 ), Eu +++ (4 f 6 ), Gd(4 f 8 ), Gd ++ (4 f 8 ), and Tb +++ (4 f 8 ).
