Dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSCs) with porphyrinoid based systems are system of great interest for both experimental and theoretical chemists. Malladi Srikanth and coworkers report that corroles with inherent reduced symmetry have some advantages over other porphyrinoids in the conversion of sunlight into electricity (DOI: 10.1002/qua.24888 ). It is found that the structural and electronic tuning of metallocorroles allows them to be the best dyes for optimal device performance in DSC applications.
