Various zero temperature ground state properties of the 85 Rb condensate with tunable interaction (JILA experiment) are studied by using correlated many body method incorporating appropriate approximation. Our observed results are clear evidence of beyond mean‐field effects in attractive Bose‐Einstein condensate. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Quantum Chem, 2010
