Energies and widths of the resonance states of the He 2+ 2 ion

Resonance energies and widths are calculated for He 2+ 2in the X 1 Σ + gelectronic state using the lifetime matrix method. Nonadiabatic couplings with the first excited state are taken into account. The obtained energies are compared with some previous results. We found that for the considered system the nonadiabatic effects are small and lower the adiabatic energies by less than 0.5 cm −1 . © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Quantum Chem, 2002
