Measures of process capability are usually presented in straight numerical form. In this paper we present a technique which displays process capability measures graphically. We call this technique a Z‐Cp chart. It is a very simple and practical descriptive statistics tool which allows managers to see graphically how the different product lines are performing or how a given process is doing over time.
