The ratios of the absorption coefficients of ozone at the standard wavelength pairs for the Dobson spectrophotometer have been determined in the laboratory over a range of temperatures using the sun as light source. Temperature coefficients of absorption are calculated and compared with those derived from the results of other workers. Using – 55°G as the representative temperature of atmospheric ozone, new values are given for the absorption coefficients which differ from the currently accepted values.
