The lunar semidiurnal variations of the wind at anemometer level are determined from 67 years of Hongkong data and 84 years of Uppsala data. The amplitudes agree in order of magnitude with theory, but they do not show the theoretically expected increase with latitude. The tidal wind vectors turn in the direction opposite to that predicted by the theory, confirming earlier determinations at five other stations.
