Atmospheric water‐vapour content and horizontal flux of water‐vapour are evaluated for twenty stations for November‐February 1956‐;7 and 1957–8. Mean patterns of vapour content and the total and eddy transport between the surface and 500 mb are analysed to show the marked differences between the two seasons. More detailed information is provided by average values of vapour and flux for a number of types of airflow pattern over Labrador‐Ungava.
