A meta‐analysis based on 87 antidepressant trials has concluded that there is significantly more variability in participant response to antidepressants than to placebo. The results of the analysis lend support to the effort to create more personalized approaches to antidepressant treatment, the researchers reported. Results of the meta‐analysis were published online Feb. 19 in JAMA Psychiatry .
