A population‐based cohort study using a within‐individual design concluded that gabapentinoids were associated with a heightened risk of numerous adverse outcomes, from suicidal behavior to injuries and traffic incidents. Risk was highest in adolescents and young adults, and risk was higher with use of pregabalin than with gabapentin, researchers reported. Study results were published online June 12 in BMJ .
