Our primary focus in the Update has always been on providing information to our readers that will be useful to them as practicing clinicians. As a result, we don't often cover findings from the psychopharmacology laboratory. It's not that such studies are not interesting (I have spent much of my career doing them). It's just that they usually don't translate into something that will make a difference in the clinic.
