Omega‐3 fatty acids may reduce symptoms of anxiety

A systematic review and meta‐analysis comprising 19 studies has concluded that use of omega‐3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) may be associated with reductions in symptoms of anxiety. Results from use of omega‐3 PUFAs were most promising for individuals with a clinical diagnosis, the researchers reported.
