Scientific Deception: Retraction of a Fraudulent Paper Andrew CoatsElizabeth M. WilliamsonWe the editors of the International Journal of Cardiology and Phytotherapy Research regretfully report a case of scientific fraud. We have been made aware that two manuscripts published around the same time contain similar figures and tables. Upon further investigation the manuscript published in Phytotherapy Research 1 appears to have included falsely reproduced experiments with no acknowledgement of original source data and has consequently been retracted. The manuscript published in the International Journal of Cardiology 2 stands and there is no criticism of the authors of this paper.1.
