The phenomena of magnetoresistance and thermal conductivity in the presence of a magnetic field are investigated using the Kondo interaction Hamiltonian within the framework of Abrikosov's pseudofermion representation in the presence of a crystalline electric field up to second order for the Ce‐based system CeCu 2 Si 2 . The results for both the properties for different values of magnetic field are presented and using the lowest four nondegenerate levels, these are found to be quite consistent with the experimental data.
