Based on the spin‐polarization theory of ferromagnetism of Hirsch and taking the electron‐phonon interaction into account, we study the effect of electron‐phonon interaction on the spontaneous magnetization m s of metallic hydrogen at zero temperature. It is shown that the lattice vibration not only reduces m s , but also narrows the area of m s ≠ 0.
