The amorphization of the spin‐3/2 transverse Ising model on a cubic lattice (N = 6) is studied within the effective field theory. The total longitudinal and transverse moments are obtained. A number of interesting phenomena is found in these quantities, due to the fluctuation of exchange interactions and the applied transverse field.
