X‐band EPR measurements of g‐factor, lineshape, and linewidth in three mutually orthogonal planes of diacetato‐copper(II)‐bis‐(p‐toluidine) trihydrate at 77 and 300 K are reported. The lineshape is found to be Lorentzian in all directions including the chain and the magic angle. Excellent fitting of the linewidth anisotropy is obtained on the basis of the anisotropic exchange (AE) theories of McGregor and Soos and Ritter et al. The z ‐direction of the AE tensor is found to be coincident with the chain direction. Values of isotropic and anisotropic exchange parameters derived from the above fitting are found to be in good agreement with those obtained from magnetic susceptibility measurements and the well‐known Moriya relation, respectively.
