The critical current density J c of the [(YBa 2 Cu 3 0 7 ) 3 /(PrBa 2 Cu 3 0 7 ) 8 (YBCO) 3 /(PrBCO) 8 ] superlattice as a function of the angle θ between the direction of the magnetic field and the c‐axis is measured in several magnetic fields at T = 55.8 K. Experimental results show that the angular dependence of J c can be well scaled by a 2D model, i.e., only the perpendicular field component is relevant. The pinning mechanism in this film is discussed.
