The reference system approach developed in the electron liquid theory is generalized for the case of the two‐component Fermi system model with a long‐range interaction between particles. The degenerate subsystems of non‐interacting particles are considered as a reference system. The general relations are shown for a simple model, i.e. degenerate electroneutral two‐component Fermi system model of charged particles. Some energetic and structural characteristics of this strongly non‐ideal model in the metal phase are obtained.
