The effects of amorphization on the resultant magnetization in a disordered ferrimagnetic alloy consisting of spin‐1/2 and spin‐3/2 atoms are discussed by the use of mean‐field theory. A number of interesting phenomena, such as the magnetization curves not predicted by the Néel theory, are obtained from the amorphization process.
