Introducing the Dyson‐Maleev transformation and the coherent state ansatz, soliton‐type nonlinear excitations in an order‐parameter‐preserving antiferromagnet (OPP‐AFM) are investigated with help of the method of multiple scales combined with the long‐wavelength approximation. The soliton frequencies enter into the frequency gap of the linear dispersion curve and denote the nonlinear localized modes of this system. These modes which produce the nonlinearity can be viewed as a two‐magnon bound state.
