Raman spectra of KDP, taken at a temperature near the paraelectric‐ferroelectric transition and submitted to a uniaxial stress show two new phase transitions. The change of symmetry of the ion units due to these transitions is related to the spectroscopic results. The reversibility of the transitions when temperature and pressure are cycled around the transition lines is discussed.
