The s—d (or s—f) Heisenberg interaction model is used to investigate the surface spin waves (SSW) in semi‐infinite magnetic semiconductors with a site‐diluted free surface in the narrow‐band limit. The dispersion relations of surface excitations are obtained by use of Green's function theory. Results in some particular cases are discussed.
