The galvanomagnetic effect and the Shubnikov‐de Haas oscillation in n‐type Hg 1 – x Mn x Se are investigated under hydrostatic pressure up to 1.6 GPa. The measurements are made at magnetic fields H ≦ 6.5 T in the range of helium temperatures for Mn concentrations x = 0.032, 0.07, 0.075. A significant decrease of concentration and Fermi energy of the Γ‐electrons under pressure are observed. Pressure induced electron redistribution between different bands in the energy spectrum of Hg 1– x Mn x Se is discussed.
