The parametric X‐ray radiation of a fast charge in a medium with periodically changing refraction index is considered in the case of simultaneous fulfillment of the Vavilov‐Cherenkov radiation conditions. It is shown that if the characteristic frequencies of both types of radiation are close enough, a considerable change in the radiation structure (both, in the charge movement direction and in that of Bragg scattering) takes place. An oscillating dependence of the registered radiation versus the target thickness and viewing point is established.
