A spin‐one Ising model with random nearest‐neighbour interactions is studied within the finite cluster approximation (FCA). The application is discussed of FCA to the spin‐one Ising model with random nearest‐neighbour exchange interactions on a honeycomb lattice according to a two‐valued distribution of the random interactions. Re‐entrant phase diagrams are found.
