The Bourret approximation for a many‐component medium, which is homogeneous and isotropic statistically under an exponential coordinate dependence of the permittivity correlation function, is used to calculate the mean Green tensor of the electromagnetic wave equation. The frequency dependence of the wave component amplitudes of the mean Green tensor is calculated numerically. The results of the calculations suggest that a stochastic resonance effect occurs in the frequency band determined by the structure of the medium.
