The magnetoconductivity of a disordered two‐dimensional electron gas is calculated for low‐intermediate magnetic field strengths. Vertex corrections from the Cooper scattering channel are treated and the influence of the self‐energy is investigated. Special attention is paid to cases where both, Shubnikov‐de Haas oscillations and a negative magnetoresistance appear.
