The recently developed procedure of estimating the leading order anharmonic coefficients (third and fourth order in the Hamiltonian) from available thermodynamic data is applied to five metals: silver, aluminium, gold, copper, and iron. Stable estimates are obtained, yielding that the leading order anharmonic contributions are comparable with the electronic ones. The quasi‐harmonic coefficients are also estimated.
