The phenomenon of the formation of multivalued ohmic sections in volt–ampere characteristics (VAC) of semiconductors with electrons heated by sound waves is predicted. The VAC and the switching process are shown to be governed by the sound wave intensity. A possibility for the experimental realization of the studied phenomenon is discussed.
