The nonlinear effects in the conductivity of metals and intrinsic semiconductors placed into a homogeneous magnetic field H 0 are investigated under the conditions of the static skin effect. The electric current distribution and the intrinsic magnetic field of the current H j in the sample are obtained by the asymptotic solution of the system of Maxwell and kinetic equations in the case of a slowly changing total magnetic field over a distance of the order of the electron Larmor radius. It is shown that by varying H 0 one can study separately the dynamic nonlinear effect associated with the H j influence on the ballistics of conduction electrons, and the deviation from Ohm's law due to charge carrier heating by electric current.
