A solution is obtained of the stationary problem of p‐polarized nonlinear surface polaritons (NLSP) near the interface of two media, one of which is optically linear and the other one has an optical nonlinearity with saturation. On this base the properties of the NLSP propagating along the interface of the self‐focusing medium with positive dielectric fanction and the linear medium with positive dielectric function are investigated in detail.
