The extended Hubbard model on a square lattice is considered in the framework of the mean‐field formalism. A detailed analysis of the stability of the superconducting state of the s‐ and the d‐type symmetry is performed for different band filling. Special attention is focused on the state with mixed sd‐type symmetry, which may occur at an intermediate strength of interactions.
