It is shown that at low magnetic fields the paramagnetic—spin glass transition temperature T g ( H ) of Ising ferrimagnets may be proportional to H 2/5 for certain parameters of the model. From the calculations follows that a jump of the magnetocaloric effect at the compensation point T k decreases with inceasing frustration. The influence of disorder on the discontinuity in the entropy at T k is also discussed.
