The thermal conductivity λ and thermoelectric figure of merit z of Sb films with thicknesses from 27 to 230 nm are measured in the temperature range 80 to 400 K. The lattice thermal conductivity λ φ is determined from the measured total thermal conductivity λ and the calculated charge carrier contribution λ e . The results are discussed in the framework of a two‐band model for the charge carriers and of a grain boundary and surface scattering model for phonons. The transport properties of isotropic and texturized films are compared.
