In this second paper on σ‐sections for representation of orientation distributions in texture analysis the results of the first one are generalized by the consequences of all crystal and sample symmetries of practical interest. The connections of σ‐sections with pole figures and inverse pole figures are given. the analytical results of both the papers are demonstrated by examples.
