A platinum‐analogue to the lithium‐induced silicon‐gold pair, previously investigated, is now detected by EPR. The results underline the close similarity of platinum‐ and gold‐related defects in silicon and suggest a remark concerning the absence of an EPR‐proof of the isolated gold defect, contrary to the platinum defect.
