The magnetic moment at 0 K of zinc‐substituted lithium ferrite is calculated, based on the spin‐canting model, for an accurate relationship between the moment and the substituent level of zinc. A modified computational plan is adopted in the calculation in contrast with those of recent publications so that a hitherto optimal fitting between the theory and experiment is realized. A generalization is also made to the case of double‐substituted LiTiZn ferrite.
