Interspine interaction effects on stationary and thermodynamic properties of α‐helical protein molecules are studied using a perturbation formalism. It is shown from zeroth order condition that intrapeptide vibration Amide I corresponds to a total of three types of solitary excitations. At low temperatures, such solitary excitations are valid for obtaining information about thermodynamic properties of α‐helical protein molecules.
