A modified bipolaronic model of high‐ T c superconductivity is proposed. The model includes electron‐phonon and antiferromagnetic bipolaron mechanisms. Characteristic property of high‐ T c superconductivity is the lowered dimensionality which is essential for the formation of topological soliton. This model is related to the layered structure of La‐Sr‐Cu‐O and Y‐Ba‐Cu‐O compounds.
