On the basis of the model proposed by de Gennes and Friedel the magnetic contribution to the electrical resistivity ρ m in an Ising ferromagnet is calculated using the Matsudaira approximation method for estimating the two‐spin correlation function. As the main result the dependence of ρ m on the temperature T and the orientation of the Fermi wave vector k F with respect to the crystallographic axes is obtained. Especially, ρ m ( T , k F ) for Ising ferromagnets with plane square and s.c. lattice structure is estimated and discussed in more detail.
