A calculation method is given of free energy change of polyatomic polarizable dipole‐active particles at their dissolution in inhomogeneous polar media. Two mechanisms of interaction between the particles and polar media are considered: solvatational and fluctuational mechanisms including ion–dipole and dipole–dipole interactions. Received analytical expressions permit to carry out the calculations for the dissoluted particles with any finite number of intramolecular degrees of freedom, taking into account the spatial and frequency dispersion of media.
