Within the framework of an effective‐field theory, the longitudinal and transverse magnetization, critical temperature, and critical transverse field of a site‐bond diluted transverse Ising ferromagnet on square lattice with S = 1 are calculated in detail. The dependence of these thermodynamic quantities on the concentration of the sites and of the bonds is investigated.
