An analysis is made of some thermodynamic properties of the spin system of a diluted paramagnetic crystal and stationary saturation, electronic and nuclear spin‐lattice relaxation, and the influence of phonon bottleneck at low temperatures (Zeeman energy larger than heat) are investigated.
