The magnetization, Curie temperature, cation distribution, sublattice magnetization, and parameters of Mössbauer spectra are measured in MgFe 2‐x Cr x O 4 . The ligand‐cation 3d‐electron transfer parameters and the cation‐cation exchange interaction integrals are found using the superexchange bond model.
