Green functions for polariton modes in magnetic superlattices

The linear response of magnetic‐polariton modes in an infinitely extended magnetic superlattice to an r.f. applied magnetic field is considered. The resulting Green functions are given in mixed position, wavevector form and also in wavevector, wavevector form. As is expected, the poles of the derived Green functions give the dispersion relations for magnetic polaritons in a bulk magnetic medium and also in a magnetic superlattice.
