Traditionally only single resonance scattering is taken into account in the Mössbauer spectroscopy for scattering. In the present paper as in previous papers a more precise theory is developed taking into account multiple scattering of the Mössbauer radiation transfer using the theory of the optical radiation transfer. The frequency‐modulated γ‐radiation scattering in a plane parallel layer is also considered.
