On the basis of some formulae for force constants calculation and using ten‐atomic‐layer slab, surface phonon dispersion curves along symmetry lines \documentclass{article}\pagestyle{empty}\begin{document}$ \overline \Gamma $\end{document} X , X S , S Y and Y \documentclass{article}\pagestyle{empty}\begin{document}$ \overline \Gamma $\end{document} in two dimensional Brillouin zone are displayed. For relaxed surface an interesting surface mode is found, which cannot be understood in the elastic‐continuum approximation even for long wavelength limit.
