The ground and metastable energy states are defined for a dipole system on a rectangular lattice. The latter appears when the ratio of lattice parameters becomes equal to 1.043. The spectrum of dipole vibrations is calculated with (and without) taking into account the mechanical coupling of dipoles with support for the 2D model of a lipid monolayer.
